Home cooking proved beneficial through the first six games of the 1956 World Series, the seventh and final chapter of the storied Bronx-Brooklyn saga. Facing elimination in Game 6, the Dodgers battled the Yanks for 9 scoreless innings before Jackie Robinson delivered a walk-off single with two outs in the bottom of the 10th to force a decisive Game 7. Encapsulated and Graded VG 3 by PSA, this full printer’s proof ticket was issued at Ebbets Field for that Clem Labine pitching gem that saw Junior Gilliam cross with the game’s only run. One of two at its tier with only four graded higher, this crisp “PAVILION RES. SEAT” voucher features printed event details and Dodgers team logos. With razor sharp edges, strong perforations, rounded corners (by design) and a clean reverse, this Flatbush treasure showcases vibrant colors. The ticket’s proof status is confirmed by the absence of section, row and seat designators, as well as hole punchings (administered by the box office).
