Helping power the AFC to a 26-13 triumph in the 1971 Pro Bowl, Kansas City’s Willie Lanier and Jan Stenerud swept the MVP honors. Celebrating the win, (38) members of that high-powered roster autographed this “Rawlings” football. The vintage leather pigskin featured is decorated with black ballpoint pennings that average (“8”) potency. Highlights include: Bo. Bell, Biletnikoff, W. Brown, Buchanan, Csonka, Culp, Dawson, Greene, Griese, Hendricks, Houston, L. Kelly, Lanier, Otto, Stenerud and Warfield. Full photo LOA from JSA. More on our website.
Additional signatures include: Budde, Chester, Curry, M. Curtis, Garrison, W. Hill, Hubbard, F. Little, Logan, Morin, Parrish, Morris, Russell, B. Smith, Stanfill, Sweeney, O. Taylor, Tyrer, Vogel, Volk, Wilson and (1) unidentified.
Although the game was played on January 13, 1972, it was technically the finale of the 1971 season. The ball does not fully inflate but presents beautifully.
