Description

A deep pitching staff, and a trio of heavy hitting sluggers propelled the Cleveland Indians to a second place finish in 1952, just two games back of the "Evil Empire" from New York. This '52 Indians are well represented with this collection of (4) souvenirs, featuring:

1952 Indians photo pack complete set of (25) in original mailer. Sized at 5 x 8-1/2", the photos average (EX to EX-MT) condition quality, with Hall of Famers: Bob Feller, Early Wynn, Bob Lemon, Al Lopez, Lary Doby; and the rest of the team: Dick Rozek, Bob Avila, Joe Tipton, Sam Jones, Barney McCoskey, Johnny Bernardino, Lou Brissie, Jim Hegan, Harry Simpson, Birdie Tebbets, Pete Reiser, Merril Combs, Mickey Harris, Steve Gromek, Ray Boone, Luke Easter, Jim Fridley, Dale Mitchell, Al Rosen, and Mike Garcia. Graced with a fantastic illustration of mascot Chief Wahoo, the postmark dated 7/26/52 mailer shows considerable wear, but is still attractive.

1952 Indians program for a late-July game against the Washington Senators (VG);

(2) 7/25/52 Indians ticket stubs both (GD).
