Description

For 1950s-1960s Baltimore Colts fans who couldn’t make or afford the trip to Memorial Stadium, novelties such as these (2) vintage keepsakes were the next best thing. Includes: 1959-1963 Hartland Statue: a “backfield” example in its original retail box with unused numeric decals; 1965 Aurora Great Moments in Sport: unassembled plastic figurines of Johnny Unitas, a blocker and a Los Angeles Rams defender; complete in original box with unused decals and 11-3/4 x 8” gridiron platform. 1959-1963 Baltimore Colts Hartland Statue: the ball-toting running back is (NM-MT) with vibrant colors and is firmly secured to its green rectangular base. The original retail box is complete with flaps and tabs intact. There are minor edge creases and the cellophane facing is partially torn.

1965 Aurora “Great Moments in Sport” Kit: all pieces are included, as is the original instruction pamphlet and unused decals. The original retail box and lid are (NM) with no creases or wear. the Aurora cement (which was sold separately) is not included.

These souvenirs are difficult to find in any form, but in these original retail packages, they are without rival in terms of condition and aesthetic appeal.
