Description

With a (then) record 111 regular-season wins, Cleveland’s lofty World Series expectations may have been warranted, but Willie Mays, Dusty Rhodes and the New York Giants had other ideas. Encapsulated and Graded VG 3 by PSA, this ticket stub was issued at Cleveland’s cavernous Municipal Stadium on October 2 for the Game 4 finale of that surprisingly one-sided Fall Classic. The colorful voucher features printed seating/event details and an illustration of “Chief Wahoo” in a hot air balloon reaching for a crown that proved elusive. One of three at its tier with only two graded higher, this October souvenir presents beautifully with rounded corners, a strong perforation and a clean reverse.
