Preceding a 10-year run that saw at least one New York-based participant in each and every World Series, the 1948 Fall Classic was the first-ever “Native American” showdown and the last in which title-starved Cleveland emerged victorious. Encapsulated and Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA, this ticket stub was issued at Boston’s Braves Field for the Game 6 contest in which Hall of Famers Bob Lemon and Joe Gordon powered the Tribe to a 4-3 series-clinching win. One of four at its tier with only one graded higher, the colorful and crisp voucher features printed seating/event details and the facsimile signature of Braves owner Louis R. Perini.
