Description

Darlings of the Midwest and National League attendance leaders for each of their first six seasons in Milwaukee, the Braves warranted their popularity with back-to-back pennants in 1957 and 1958. After winning the 1957 Fall Classic against the mighty Yankees, the Braves threatened to repeat the following October, only to squander a three-games-to-one lead. Encapsulated and Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, this County Stadium full ticket was issued for the 1958 series opener, which saw Warren Spahn log a complete-game 10-inning triumph.

The obverse features vibrant colors, printed seating/event details and an appropriately crowned “laughing Brave” logo. Perforations are decidedly strong and the reverse is immaculate. This is an amazing survivor form an era simultaneously marked by a Yankee dynasty and emergence of both Aaron and the Braves.
