Prior to winning “The Greatest Game Ever Played” and perennially contending for NFL supremacy, the original Baltimore Colts were a woeful franchise in the short-lived AAFC (All-America Football Conference). That incarnation was a separate entity and its memorabilia is among the rarest in the hobby. As for an AAFC Colts library, you need look no further than this lot of (15) programs issued for 1947 through 1949 Colts games during the club’s brief run in the upstart circuit. Covers/pages are intact throughout in these well-kept survivors featuring since-defunct franchises such as the Los Angeles Dons, Brooklyn Dodgers and Chicago Hornets. Included is a September 7, 1947 Memorial Stadium-issued program from the first-ever Colts game! More on our website.
