Description

The WWII era saw a depletion of major league talent as patriotic ballplayers left for military service. Representing the final pre-war full roster seasons are the offered 1941 NL Champion Brooklyn Dodgers and 1942 Cleveland Indians team-signed baseballs. Applied to an ONL/Frick sphere (“6”) are (20) 1941 Dodgers signatures showing average (“7-8”) signature strength with HOFers Herman, Medwick and Reese. (23) 1942 Indians signatures decorate an OAL/Harridge ball (“7”) with average (“6-7”) quality. Full photo LOAs from JSA. More on our website.
