Pay homage to the Oval Office with this lot of (4) POTUS signed White House calling cards. All (4) of these Chief Executive autographs have been applied in black ink by steel-tip fountain pen on similar 4-1/8 x 2-3/4" cards printed at top right as “The White House Washington”. Head chief is Howard Taft (d.1930) displaying elegant (“9-10”) quality and fully dated as "March 27. 1912". Also present are: Calvin Coolidge (d.1933) with crisp (“8-9”) quality, Herbert Hoover (d.1964) showing stately (“9”) strength and Woodrow Wilson (d.1924) remarkable (“10”) quality. In each case the heavy stock used for the offered cards presents in excellent condition with age appropriate, uniform cream toning. The Hoover and Wilson cards are accompanied by original White House envelopes. The Coolidge card is accompanied by the original mailing envelope affixed with a two-cent George Washington stamp and postmarked as “9/14/26”. Full photo LOAs from JSA.
