Following a dauntless pilgrimage that forever changed the landscape and culture of American sports, Jackie Robinson penned a much anticipated autobiographical account entitled Wait Till Next Year (1960, Random House). This first printing hardcover edition is autographed by its heroic subject and co-author. Executed on the flyleaf in black ballpoint, Robinson’s signature projects (“9”) strength and is dated “6-10-60” with a personalization. Co-author Carl T. Rowan has also signed, as have two unknown persons. Full photo LOA from JSA.
With covers and crisp pages completely intact, the volume presents beautifully and has its original dust jacket.
