Description

Spared from the wrath of big league sluggers over a span of five decades, these (17) baseballs showcase prominent trademark stampings and are ideal surfaces for autographs of players from their respective eras. The orbs range from clean white (grade “9”) to mildly toned (grade “7”) examples with highlights including: (2) OAL Harridge; (1) ONL Giles; (2) OAL Cronin; (2) OAL MacPhail; (2) ONL Feeney; and (2) 1970s “orange” baseballs. (2) 1973 Charlie Finley Orange Baseballs both are clean and unblemished prototypes of Finley’s “experimental” ball with “deBeer and Son” trademark stampings rather than the OAL, ONL or “Charles O. Finley” stampings found on examples actually used during their brief 1973 spring training run.

Also included are:

1950s Fielder’s Glove manufactured by Texas’ Nocona Leather Goods, this right-handed fielder’s model is crafted from genuine cowhide and shows solid use.
1950s Catcher’s Mask a “Wilson” accessory with curved protective metal bars securing leather pad strips lining the forehead and jaw; the original strap remains securely fastened.
Baseball a 1960s “Macgregor” league ball; shows excessive use.
